Louis Van Staaten is the "Nomme de brush" of Norris Fowler Willett who lived from 1859-1924. He used this name for his Dutch scenes. He exhibited thrice at the Royal Academy between 1908 and 1914 using this name.

Old Holland An unusual one by this artist. The picture size is 19"x28" , not his normal 14"x21". Also there are no windmills (!). It comes from the collection of a 2nd generation dealer and collector.
