Andrew Kennedy was born in 1941 in South Shields. Served in the Merchant Navy where he learnt the true colours and feeling of the Sea,and had some small success seloing his watercolours.After some time as a Monumental Mason in which he became a Master Craftsman and a Skilled Bricklayer, became a full time artrist and had one of his works - "The Glory of Sail..... A Clipper" exhibited at the Royal Society of Marine Artists.
Still painting today, happily married and living near the sea in Kent.
