Alys Woodman (1897-1987)
Alys lived in Malvern in Worcestershire where she studied at The Malvern School of Art. Alys is known for her nudes and portrait work and her paintings are much sought after by collectors. She died in buried at Little Malvern Priory.
Alys Woodman paintings were exhibited at the Royal Society of Artists, Birmingham, on several occasions in the 1920s.
Alys is also known for capturing a German pilot who had been shot down during WWII!
