Edgar James Maybery (better known as E J Maybery) was born in Newport, Wales in 1887. E J Maybery was a painter in oil and watercolours and often painted the scenery of South Wales and the West of England, especially coastal scenes.
Edgar Maybery exhibited at the Royal Cambrian and Hibernian Academies.
Edgar Maybery died in 1964 in North Wales.
