Ernst Stierhof was born in Germany in 1918.
He is noted for his portrait style of work, mainly of Cardinals, Peasants and typical Prussian Characters of his time.
His larger works (50cmx40cm) have sold for as muich as £1,500 at auction.
He was also a writer and wrote the book titled “The Life and Work of a Painter”.
