Felix Raucher (1932 – ?)
Coming from a family with a long artistic tradition he was first introduced to painting by his brother, Rudolf Raucher in Munich.
After study trips to Hungary, Dalmatia and Austria, where he settled (leaving his home birth town of Essen), he set out very successfully on his career and became noted for his romantic interpretation of the Austrian Landscape.
He has held exhibitions in Vienna, Munich and Salzburg, and his works have been regularly sold by provincial Galleries in Britain as well as America.
In his time, he has also been a teacher.
