Johne Makin, a local Plymouth artist, known for his marine theme, was born November 1947 in Devonport, Plymouth and with the exception of a brief spell as an officer in the Merchant Navy, has always lived in Plymouth .
His work is well known in the West Country and frequently appears in Print.
