Amletto was born in Naples in 1953, and he still lives and works there. Art courses through the family veins, his father being an artist and now also his son, Riccardo. After school, he attended the local Institute of Arts.
He has exhibited successfully at the following exhibitions:-

1991 Vienna Awarded the Silver Medal
1992 Marseilles ‘Sae Award’
He specialises in local views, usually of the coast or the 3 nearby Islands. He has held exhibitions in Naples, Florence, Vienna and Marseilles amongst others with the result that his work is known Internationally.
